Las Vegas Raises The Stakes in 2009

After a down 2008 and a typically slow winter holiday season Las Vegas is set to bring in the New Year. With fireworks blasting all over town, Kid Rock playing and Robbie Knievel attempting to jump the volcano at the Mirage.
The Casinos and businesses are hoping 2009 will be the start of a upward swing for tourism and gambling. With the first week of the NFL playoffs on way, sportsbooks and Casinos usually see increased traffic this time of year leading up to Superbowl weekend.
After a final week of the Season that saw many teams with chances, the divisions winners and wild card teams have been decided.

The line at CAESARS opened at -2.5 for the visiting Falcons before falling to -2
Indianapolis @ San Diego
Just about every book in Las Vegas has the Colts as -1.5 to -1 favorites over the surging Bolts.
Sunday
Baltimore @ Miami 1pm EST
The Las Vegas Hilton has bumped the Ravens up to -3.5, many place still have them @ -3.
Philadelphia @ Minnesota 4:30pm EST
Most of the books in Las Vegas seem to agree on this one at -3 for the Eagles.
