The Story of A Greedy Gambler

A well known loser found himself in a tight spot and was in need of one major score to get out of the mess he was in. He scoured the board for college and pro games looking for some way out.

He remember his friend who was a real sharp and always seem to win, so he decided to pay him a visit and see if he would help him out. Upon entering his friends house he began telling his hard luck story and how bad off he was and of all his last second bad beats. His friend the sharp listened and offered to help him dig himself out of the deep hole he had dug.

Telling him he had a game that was a mortal lock and the fix was in. He explained that his brother was the coach, the starting QB his nephew, the D-Line were all sick with the flu and the referee was in his hip pocket, on the take. He told the loser to bet as much as he wanted it was a sure thing.

The Vegas loser promptly replied, “great now can you give me another game I can parlay it with!”
